WP3.1: Geophysical maps.

  • Geophysical mapping of the geological units

Individual activities/works

  • Literature investigation, gather and classify vintage data and information from studies, works etc.
  • Selection and evaluation of the proposed geophysical methods.
  • Geophysical measurements with at least 2 different techniques for specific geological formations, representative of the varying geological units.
  • Geophysical laboratory tests.

WP3.2: Geophysical sections representative of the varying soil types.

  • Vertical or in depth imaging of the geophysical properties at least during 2 different seasons (e.g. beginning of Spring and beginning of Autumn).

Individual activities/works

  • Two-dimensional and three-dimensional geophysical data processing
  • Depth models

WP3.3: Three-dimensional depth model of the selected areas.

  • The correlation of possible geomorphological structures (as they appear from photos of sub-project 2) and geophysical data.

Individual activities/works

Geophysical data interpretation using photographic material imaging the geological formations and geomorphological structures.

WP3.4: Correlation of soil and geophysical parameters.

  • Correlation of soil data (sub-project 2) and geophysical results

Individual activities/works

  • Data gather regarding the technicogeological soil nature based on information derived from published maps, studies and research projects as well as on mechanical structure laboratory analyses and geochemical analyses (from sub-project 2),
  • soil and geophysical data analysis and statistical processing.
